This year, John Bowen will talk about the roots which have nourished the work of the Institute, and what the future holds for the church and its mission:

"Roots and Wings: How the Past is Shaping the Future"

Dr. John Bowen has taught at Wycliffe College since 1997. He is Professor of Evangelism and Director of the Institute of Evangelism. He has written or edited five books, most recently a collection of essays by 20 different authors called Green Shoot out of Dry Ground: Growing a New Future for the Church in Canada. He and his wife Deborah have two married children and 3.5 grandchildren.
