Is this workbook denomination-specific?
Although our writing team was made up of Christians who are of the Anglican tradition, the material has been shaped with a broad cross-section of the Church in mind. The workbook material contains Gospel-centred teaching that offers a grounding in the basics of Christianity. Unashamedly focused on the person of Jesus Christ, the course offers an introduction to the Bible, church history, the historic Creeds, and Christian practices. It is hoped that churches of various denominations can then build further on this grounding.
Who should facilitate the workbooks?
This workbook would be especially helpful to small-group leaders, pastors of discipleship, youth group leaders, those leading explorer courses or baptism prep courses for adults. In other words, anyone involved in discipleship training for adults or teens.

Is this a substitute for courses like Alpha or Christianity Explored?
We think Christian Foundations will be a great complement to any initial course for people exploring Christianity. Since the workbook introduces people to the creeds, Church history, the Old and New Testaments, Christian practices and vocation, it builds nicely on any first exposure to the Gospel of Jesus.
