Tyler Wigg-Stevenson

Tyler Wigg-Stevenson is an Associate Priest and the director of the Ministry Apprenticeship Program at St. Paul’s Bloor Street (Toronto). His scholarly interests focus on the patristic legacy of early Christianity and how it can inform contemporary spiritual practice, including the development of monasticism and the ancient precursors to modern secularity. Prior to entering Anglican pastoral ministry, he was an ordained Baptist serving as the founder and director of the Two Futures Project, a campaign to abolish nuclear weapons. He also served for a year as Study Assistant to the late John Stott. Tyler has written extensively for academic and popular publications and is the author of two and a half books, including the award-winning The World Is Not Ours to Save. He is originally from southern California, and has lived in Toronto since 2011. Tyler and his wife, Natalie, a theologian, have three young children.
