My conversion experience as a young teen through the ministry of IV Pioneer Camp opened me up to a life of grace and freedom in Christ from anxiety and scrupulosity. I chose Wycliffe because it offered me a caring community in which my faith in Christ could be nurtured and challenged to grow. Wycliffe provided a biblical foundation from which I was able to explore courses at other Toronto School of Theology colleges. I was surprised and delighted to discover the world of the early church and patristic theology.

After graduating from Wycliffe, I worked in education, then pursued further studies in the areas of counselling and psychology. I became a registered counsellor therapist and have been working in a private practice that focuses on trauma work and marriage counselling. I see my work as sharing in Christ's healing and transforming work as He makes all things new.

Wycliffe's commitment to the Scriptures as God's living word has been foundational to my personal life, my family life, and my professional life and ministry. My training at Wycliffe has, among other things, enabled me to reflect scripturally and theologically on new therapy modalities and techniques, accessing Christ and his liberating power while working with evidence-based practices.
