The 2021 RADVO Conference will take place from Septmeber 23 to 25 in Dallas, Texas and Wycliffe College is pleased to be a co-sponsor of the event. RADVO is a biennial, in-person conference, where church leaders, seminary students, and clergy from across the globe come together to hear from and engage with the greatest theological minds of our day. This year, it will feature speakers including N.T. Wright, James K.A. Smith, Esau McCaulley, Tish Harrison Warren, and others, who will be addressing a variety of topics pertaining to the themes of God's call and Christian vocational ministries.
Dr. Annette Brownlee, Chaplain and Professor of Pastoral Theology at Wycliffe College, and author of Preaching Jesus Christ Today: Six Questions for Moving from Scripture to Sermon, will be among the speakers. She will lead a session on the topic of "long obedience" in one's vocation, sharing her three-plus decade-long vocation as an Episcopal/Anglican priest under the rubric of perseverance. She will speak of her experience of binding herself to God’s Word and God’s people across the vagaries of time in a variety of parish settings, international ministry in the Anglican communion, and teaching in an ecumenical seminary, all within the context of marriage and parenthood.
