Update on September 1, 2021: Please see COVID Protocols for Fall 2021 >>

Dear Friends,

Today, the Wycliffe College Board of Trustees endorsed a policy affecting any who anticipate being on campus this fall. We are following the practice of a number of universities and have framed our protocols in light of the recently announced health plan of the University of Toronto, which requires full vaccination against COVID-19 for those on University of Toronto property.

In our College policy, students, staff, faculty, volunteers, and visitors will be asked to furnish proof of full vaccination before being allowed to enter the building or take up an off-campus student placement. More details regarding this policy and its implementation will be available shortly.

We believe this to be a reasonable requirement for the health and safety of our community. The rising rates of infection linked to the Delta variant are a cause for concern, and we are mindful that our building contains both classrooms and a residence. We have an obligation to protect each other, even as we ourselves might wish to be protected.

Our prayer is that in implementing this policy, and as we continue to practice vigilance with respect to the wearing of masks, social distancing, and cleanliness, we will make it through another semester without a COVID case on our campus. We will continue to abide by governmental health protocols and university guidelines in the hope that restrictions will soon be lifted and we can resume a more sociable existence.

With gratitude for your conscientious patience,

+Stephen
