Convocation 2025

Convocation for the Class of 2025 will be held on Monday May 12, 2025, in Sheraton Hall at Wycliffe College. The College will bestow the honorary Doctor of Sacred Letters upon Lorna Dueck and Paul Henderson. Dueck is a faith-based journalist and media leader, while Henderson, already renowned for his hockey career, is known for his public witness, ministry and inspirational leadership.

At Holy Eucharist, Henderson will be interviewed by Wycliffe Board member Dave Toycen (DSL W05). At Convocation, the Rev. Dr Andrew Stirling (DD W08), Ambassador for the Canadian Bible Society, will deliver the address. 

Seating is limited to graduates and their guests only; however, both the ceremony and Holy Eucharist will be livestreamed.

12:30 p.m.:      Rehearsal, Sheraton Hall

1:30 p.m.:        Holy Eucharist, Founders' Chapel

3:00 p.m.:        Graduating Class Photo, Front Steps

3:15 p.m.:        Robing, West Lecture Room

3:45 p.m.:        Procession—out Founders' Chapel doors and in main college doors

4:00 p.m.:        Convocation Ceremony, Sheraton Hall*

6:00 p.m.:        Reception, The Great Hall

*Seats for the Convocation Ceremony will be ticketed: graduates receive two tickets each. All others in attendance require invitations.
