Join us for a rich dialogue exploring the fascinating topic of Angels, Demons and Jinn in Comparative Perspective. This event delves into the shared and distinct understandings of these spiritual beings in both the Christian and Muslim traditions, fostering meaningful conversation and deeper mutual understanding. All are welcome to this engaging and thought-provoking discussion.

Speakers are Dr Saiyad Nizamuddin Ahmad and Dr Justin Stratis. 

Dr Ahmad is currently The Prophet Muhammad University Professor of Shia Islam Studies at Florida International University (FIU) where he holds the rank of Associate Professor in the Department of Religious Studies. He is also an Honorary Senior Research Fellow in the Institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies, University of Exeter, UK, as well as a faculty member of Mufid Academic Seminary, Fairfax, Virginia. 

Dr Stratis is the Academic Dean and Professor of Systematic Theology at Wycliffe College. He holds a PhD in Systematic Theology from the University of Aberdeen and previously served as Tutor in Christian Doctrine at Trinity College Bristol, where he directed the doctoral program in partnership with the University of Aberdeen. His work focuses on the theological interpretation of Scripture.
