Theology Pub Night with Dr Brian Brock and Dr Julien Musolino: Unchaining morality: does public ethics need less religion?

Wycliffe College
Join us for Unchaining Morality: Does Public Ethics Need Less Religion? a Theology Pub Night that promises a stimulating dialogue. With guests Dr Brian Brock and Dr Julien Musolino, this engaging event invites participants to explore contrasting viewpoints on the role of traditional religious influence in our public ethical framework.
Some will argue that easing the hold of long-standing faith traditions could pave the way for a more inclusive and innovative approach to public morality, while others contend that these enduring values are indispensable for cultural cohesion and moral clarity. Whether you're seeking to challenge conventional wisdom or deepen your understanding of theological perspectives regarding ethics, this evening is set to spark insightful discussion around topics that we engage on a daily basis.
This is a free event. It begins at 7 p.m. in the Great Hall at Wycliffe College.
