Teaching: at the Toronto School of Theology: Emmanuel College, Regis College, Wycliffe College, McMaster Divinity School; also at the University of Latvia (Riga), and at Hebrew University (Jerusalem).

He is the author of Hans Frei and Karl Barth: Different Ways of Reading Scripture, and Calvin’s Theology of the Word of God (Digital, Oxford).

He is Past President of the Canadian Theological Society, and Past General Secretary of The Karl Barth Society of North America.
