Jeremy McClung

Transitional Director of the Institute of Evangelism

Jeremy brings both academic training and practical experience to his adjunct teaching and his role as Transitional Director of Wycliffe College’s Institute of Evangelism. Having spent nearly 25 years in pastoral ministry, including 14 planting and pastoring Muskoka Community Church in Port Sydney, Ontario, he is keenly aware of the challenges and opportunities facing churches and leaders today. His hands-on experiences as a pastor are the driving force behind his academic research in practical theology, which has focused on evangelism, conversion, preaching, spiritual formation, and spiritual direction.

Jeremy has a BA in Bible and Religion/Educational Ministry from Huntington University in Indiana, a MA in Christian Studies (Practical Theology) from McMaster Divinity College, and has completed all requirements for his PhD from Wycliffe College (graduating in 2024). He has been married to April for over 25 years, and together they have three children in their teens and twenties.
