Bio:

The Rev. Dr Wesley Hill is an Episcopal priest and a New Testament scholar who is deeply committed to the theological interpretation of Scripture. Dr Hill comes to Wycliffe College from his position as Associate Professor of New Testament at Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan—an evangelical, ecumenical community of faith and learning. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (with a major in Ancient Languages and a minor in Bible and Theology) from Wheaton College, a Master of Arts in Theology and Religion from Durham University, and a Doctor of Philosophy, also from Durham University. His doctoral work was published as Paul and the Trinity: Persons, Relations, and the Pauline Letters (Eerdmans, 2015).

A member of the Society of Biblical Literature, Dr Hill has also served as an editorial board member of the “Journal of Theological Interpretation” and written a range of journal articles and essays.

His current research focuses on the theological interpretation of the Christian Bible. He is presently working in the areas of Pauline and Johannine literature, and is under contract to write a book on reading Paul's letters through the lenses of later Christian theological interpreters, as well as a theological commentary on the Johannine Epistles.
