Classes for the Winter 2022 term began on January 10, 2022. In line with recent U of T announcements, all Wycliffe College classes have resumed with remote instruction only and will continue to meet remotely until at least Monday, January 31, 2022. Please note - that this date is subject to change. The Wycliffe Coronavirus Response Team is continuing to closely monitor public health and University guidelines and will update the College community in due course. Chapel is live-streamed each Monday to Friday beginning at 8:30 a.m., and Wednesdays at 4:45 p.m. Join us online, here!

The History of Scottish Theology is a three-volume work consisting of over eighty essays surveying the history of Scottish theology from the early middle ages onwards. Written by an international team of scholars, the collection provides the most comprehensive review yet of the theological movements, figures, and themes that have shaped Scottish culture and exercised a significant influence in other parts of the world. Two new titles have just been published in the Wycliffe Studies in Gospel, Church and Culture book series, edited by Thomas Power and published by Wipf and Stock. Strange Land, edited by Caris Kim, offers up meditations on the Psalms by Wycliffe College faculty members during the time of the pandemic. Kingdom Manifesto, edited by Jason N. Yuh, presents a series of reflections by faculty members, on who Christ is. Ten books now compose the series, which presents topical subject matter in an accessible form and seeks to appeal to a broad audience. Titles in the series typically derive from
Professor of New Testament Ann Jervis will join a group of the world’s top scholars at a specialist conference on the topic of Paul and Early Judaism. Taking place October 25-27, 2021, the conference will focus on the question: “Was Paul an Apocalyptic Jew? A Case in Jewish Diversity in the Second Temple Period." Professor Jervis will give a presentation on Paul’s Messianic Apocalypticism, addressing the matter of Paul’s union with Messiah concept. As was recently announced and effective immediately, Wycliffe College students, staff, faculty, volunteers, and visitors are required to furnish proof of full vaccination before they will be permitted to enter the building, or to take up an off-campus student placement. Full vaccination requires a comprehensive course of Health Canada-approved or WHO-recognized vaccines, with the final shot administered on or before October 4, 2021.
